Court records show a connection in death investigation

Posted: Updated:
BENTON COUNTY (KWWL) -

Sabrina Hustad was found dead outside a home just before noon on Sunday.

The home was located in the 3200 block of 59th Street Trail in Shellsburg.

DCI agent Richard Rahn told us an autopsy has been completed on Hustad's body, but the results will not be released for 4-5 weeks because they are waiting on the toxicology report.

The driveway where Hustad was found dead belongs to David Miller, who was arrested and charged with stealing a truck that same day.

Authorities have not said whether Hustad and Miller are connected, but online court records show paternity test were done in 2011

to establish whether or not David Miller was the father of Hustad's child.

We do not know the results of that testing, but the records confirm the two knew each other.

Authorities have not said whether Miller was related to Hustad's death, the investigation continues.
