Lawsuit claims GNC sold spiked supplements

Posted: Updated:
A lawsuit filed by Oregon's Attorney General claims that supplement retailer GNC sold products that were spiked with two synthetic drugs.
The suit names ingredients Picamilion and BMPEA, known as hidden speed, which aren't approved in the United States and aren't considered safe or natural; the suit also says the company kept selling the supplements, knowing they contained unapproved supplements without testing them or warning customers.
This lawsuit comes as a recent crack down by federal and state officials on supplements, claiming to be all-natural but actually containing hidden drug ingredients.
