WATERLOO (KWWL) -

The Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity will celebrate the grand opening of its "ReStore," -- a home improvement and donation center.

At the store, appliances, cabinets, books, plumbing fixtures, hardware, and other supplies will be available for purchase.

The store is driven by donations.

All of the proceeds from ReStore goes to the Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity to build more affordable homes for local families.

The goal for ReStore's first year is to have the proceeds go to build an entire house.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held October 31, at 8:30 am at 4107 Hammond Avenue in Waterloo.

Hours of operations are Wednesday through Saturday, from 9 am to 6 pm.
