IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

It seems the Board of Regents is planning another tuition raise.

At this week's meeting the board will discuss tuition rates for the 2016-2017 school year -- though the final vote won't happen until December. They're considering a 3% increase for undergraduate tuition.

Earlier this year regents approved a 3% increase at UNI and ISU for the upcoming spring semester while University of Iowa students successfully argued a tuition freeze. This was the first increase in several years.
