LA PORTE CITY (KWWL) -

A man is arrested after police find items used for a meth lab at his home.  The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office says 39-year-old Randall Wagner called police wanting assistance at his La Porte City home in the 300 block of 8th St.

Police say it was not a working lab at the time the search warrant was served.  Officers also located two different prescription bottles with pills that had no prescription information.

Wagner was taken to the Black Hawk County Jail and charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of pseudoephedrine and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
