(NBC) -

It was a game of real cop, fake cop.

A Florida man was arrested Friday and charged with posing as a law enforcement officer after he pulled over an actual deputy.

Joshua Lynam, 24, of Milton, had red and white lights installed in his pickup truck and pulled behind a deputy from the Escambia County Sheriff's Office who was riding in an unmarked vehicle, according to the Pensacola News Journal.

"The officer saw the emergency lights, and he pulled over to the side to let him go by," Sgt. Andrew Hobbs told the press, "(Lynam) pulled up behind him, and pretty much did a traffic stop."

Lynam has been released on $1,000 bond.

In 2013, Lynam was reportedly arrested for threatening to beat an officer with a video game controller and commit suicide if he turned of Lynam's computer.
