MARION (KWWL) -

On Friday, Marion Police officers responded to a domestic disturbance at 210 Ridge Dr. #9 around 7 p.m. and while investigating, officers saw methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Police say, a search warrant was obtained for the home and that's when officers found multiple items associated with methamphetamine manufacturing, including many inactive “one pot” type meth labs.

Austin A. Gee, 31, of Marion was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Gee was taken to the Linn County Jail.

Additional charges for manufacturing methamphetamine are pending.

Officers used special gear and SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus) during the search and clean-up of the residence.  The Marion Police Department was assisted by the Marion Fire Department.
