Sheriff's Deputies looking for "asphalt scam" suspects

Posted: Updated:
CLAYTON COUNTY (KWWL) -
The Clayton County Sheriff's Office is asking for helping finding two men accused of scamming people by lying about doing asphalt work.
Investigators say the guys posed as an asphalt paving company that was hired to repair previous work completed on their property; the men allegedly didn't do any of the agreed upon work, even though they were paid for it.
The suspects were seen driving a black GMC extended cab truck with "after-market" rims, tinted windows and possible South Dakota registration. Deputies say there was a trailer attached to the truck with something that looks like an asphalt tank. The men looked like they were in their thirties; they were last seen headed east on County Rd.
