UPDATE: Driver's name released after deadly crash

WINNESHIEK COUNTY (KWWL) -

The Iowa State Patrol says Alexandra Loden, 26 years old, died in a crash in Winneshiek County on Sunday.

Loden was from Decorah.

Authorities say she was driving a car that crossed the center line, went into a ditch and then rolled.  Loden was thrown out of the car. She was not wearing a seat belt.

A person is dead after being ejected from a car in Winneshiek County.

Iowa State Patrol says a car accident occurred along Middle Calmar Road on early Sunday morning.

The 2005 Pont Grand Prix was traveling northbound on Middle Calmer Road, drifted across the center line into the southbound lane.

It then entered a ditch and rolled, causing the driver to be thrown from the car.

The name of the victim hasn't yet been released.

Iowa State Patrol says they are investigating a possible car accident along Middle Calmar Road in Winneshiek County, south of Decorah on Sunday morning.

The number of vehicles as well as any possible injuries couldn't be confirmed at this time as an investigation on the matter continues.
