WATERLOO (KWWL) -

The exhibit, It Takes An Iowan: Our Evolving Role in Feeding The World, will  be on display at the Grout Museum of History & Science in Waterloo.

It's an educational exhibit that depicts the impact of Iowa agriculture on global community.

Various Iowans are showcased in the exhibit,  from inventors to teachers.  A few of those individuals include teacher Jessie Field Shambaugh, President Herbert Hoover, and inventor Robert Noyce.

The exhibit runs from Oct. 23 through Nov. 1.

Admission is $1 as long as non-perishable donations are brought for the Northeast Iowa Food Bank.  Items most needed include: canned tuna, chicken, canned fruit, 12-15 oz. peanut butter and whole grain pasta.

If visiting without a donation,  admission is $10 for  adults, $5 for veterans and children ages 4-13.  It's free for Vietnam era veterans, children 3 and under, and museum members.
