DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

The City of Dubuque will host a meeting Thursday, Oct. 15 to hear about accessibility issues that people may face in getting to and accessing city-owned facilities and properties.

The meeting is from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the Hills and Dales Community Center in Dubuque.

The goal of the meeting is for city leaders to learn more about the issues and then prioritize funding according to need.  Accessibility around programs and services will be a focus in 2016, according to a press release sent out by the city.

If you can't make it to the meeting, input can be submitted through questionnaires at City Hall, Carnegie-Stout Public Library, Hills and Dales Community Center, Multicultural Family Center and the Leisure Services Department.  It can be completed or downloaded at www.cityofdubuque.org/ADA.  Submissions should be in by Sunday, Oct. 18.
