MADISON, Wis. (KWWL) -

The UW-Madison Police Department is looking for an adult Badger fan they say assaulted a 15-year-old Hawkeyes fan following Wisconsin's 10-6 loss to Iowa on Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium.

UW-Madison police say the teen, who is from the Madison area, was wearing Hawkeyes gear and was leaving the stadium at around 2:30 p.m. Saturday when the incident happened.

The victim told officers he was teasing his friend, a Badgers fan, about the outcome of the game when the suspect came up to him, unprovoked, and punched him the face before disappearing into the crowd leaving the stadium.

The suspect is described as a man between 20 and 25-years-old and was wearing a red shirt and jeans. He was last seen leaving the upper deck using the south stadium ramp.

The victim suffered bruising and scratching to his face.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the UW-Madison Police Department at (608) 264-2677.
