The ISU Cyclones faced off against the Kansas Jayhawks Saturday at Jack Trice Stadium.

The Cyclones had a 1-2 record coming into the game, while the Jayhawks came in with a 0-3 record.

In the first quarter, the game started off a little slow as each team tested the waters. ISU scored a successful field goal making the score at the end of the first quarter 3-0.

ISU flexed their offensive muscles in the second quarter with two touchdowns before going into Halftime.

ISU makes another touchdown coming into the third quarter, but Kansas was not to go down without a fight, making a touchdown of their own. But ISU brushed it off and hammered out a second touchdown before the quarter's end.

The score at the end of quarter three was 31-6.

At the beginning of the fourth, Kansas makes another touchdown but ISU doesn't let it get to them and they answer with a score of their own. Through the rest of the game ISU manages to hold off Kansas until the end of the game, securing their win.

The final score was 38-13, ISU over Kansas.
