WATERLOO (KWWL) -

The Waterloo Center for the Arts has confirmed that Republican presidential hopeful and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina's campaign trail will cross through eastern Iowa later this month.

Fiorina will hold a town hall in Waterloo on Saturday, October 17. The visit will mark Fiorina's first stop in the city as a presidential candidate.

The hour-long town hall is scheduled to begin at noon within the Waterloo Center for the Arts at 225 Commercial Avenue.

The public event will be free, and unlike several other events hosted by her Republican competitors in recent weeks, a reservation is not required for Fiorina's appearance.

The Republican Women of Black Hawk County are hosting Fiorina's town hall. Visit their site at http://www.rwbhc.org/home.html or the Waterloo Center for the Arts at http://www.waterloocenterforthearts.org/ for more information as the town hall approaches.
