Summit will address problems with the criminal justice system

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

A summit is being held to discuss problems with the criminal justice system. Topics to be discussed include: he increasing number of crimes, growing prison populations, and the disparities of arrest and incarceration among minorities.

The event is being held Thursday, October 1 from 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. at the Maucker Union on the University of Northern Iowa campus.
