DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Dubuque will be holding a computer building class starting Tuesday, Nov. 3 and running until Tuesday, Dec. 8.

The class will be held Tuesday nights from 6-7:20 p.m.

Program topics include:

  • Parts of a computer and what they actually do
  • Assembly (hands-on construction) of new computers
  • Installing the proper software
  • Certificates/awards--display of PC's built

Preregistration is required for the class, which is open to boys and girls ages 13-19.  To register, call the technology center at 563-543-4712.  The class is free for members, and costs $20 for non-members.  All participants will also receive a free Microsoft Club Tech t-shirt.

Sign up begins Oct. 8 and class size is limited to 20 people.
