Fareway: Hawaiian Style Turkey Sliders

1/3 Dole Tropical Golden pineapple, diced

¼ avocado, diced

1 ¼ pounds ground turkey breast

2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro

1 Tbsp. curry powder

1 Tbsp. cumin

1 (xx ounce) can green chilies

Salt, to taste

Hawaiian glaze, see recipe below

1 ½ cups Dole baby spinach

6 slider rolls


STIR together pineapple and avocado; SET aside. MIX turkey, cilantro, curry, cumin and green chilies. DIVIDE turkey into 6 burgers. MAKE a well in the center and each burger and fill with 1 tablespoon pineapple-avocado mixture. CLOSE the turkey around the filling and ARRANGE on a baking sheet. RESERVE remaining pineapple-avocado mixture. SPOON Hawaiian glaze on top of burgers. BROIL for 10 minutes, FLIP burgers over and SPREAD with remaining glaze. COOK for another 5 minutes. ARRANGE baby spinach equally among buns. PLACE burgers on top and SERVE with reserved pineapple-avocado mixture.

Hawaiian Glaze: COMBINE ½ cup fresh, diced pineapple, 2 tsp. sesame oil, 1 tsp. grated fresh ginger, 1 tsp. soy sauce, 1 tsp. honey, ¼ tsp. red pepper flakes in a blender. COVER and BLEND until smooth.
