WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Waterloo police officers arrest a man after a struggle over a gun.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 500 block of Western Ave. Saturday night and saw people running towards the 1100 block of W. 5th St. They then responded to a disturbance at 1122 W. 5th St. One of the people was 18-year-old Diamond Jackson. Officers went to arrest him because he was interfering with the investigation. According to police, he resisted arrest. Officers used a taser to get control of him.

While searching Jackson, officers found a gun they determined was stolen.
