BLACK HAWK COUNTY (KWWL) -

After a short deliberation, a Black Hawk County jury found Anthony Tronca guilty of murdering Ronald Randall at Tronca's auto shop last year.

It only took the jury about an hour to reach the guilty verdict. When it was read, Tronca hardly showed any emotion.

Wednesday morning jurors heard from both sides in closing arguments.

The state believed they gave the jury all the facts to find Tronca guilty. They say he killed Randall for sleeping with Tronca's girlfriend, Jessica Ogden. Randall was shot four times in a room at Tronca's auto shop..

The defense questioned the credibility of witnesses brought forward, alleging they were on meth.

In the end, the jury found Tronca guilty of murder.

Randall's sister feels justice was served.  "I would just like to thank the state's attorney and the Waterloo Police Department for doing their job. My brother was a great person, happy, funny, loving," said Donna Wolfe.

A guilty verdict holds a mandatory life sentence, but Tronca's sentencing will be held at a later date. His attorney declined to make a statement.
