IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Iowa City Animal Control is looking for a dog who bit a child on Tuesday.

The Iowa City Police Department was notified about a child who was bitten by a dog that was not on a leash.

Based of the information, it happened during the late evening hours near Wetherby Park which is located at 2400 Taylor Drive.

The dog was described as big, and brown and white in color.

The dog was with a person described as a white male around 6 feet tall, who was bald with a mustache and beard.

Iowa City Animal Control Services is looking for information about the rabies vaccination of the dog.
