WATERLOO (KWWL) -

The defense rested their case in the Anthony Tronca murder trial Tuesday morning.

Tronca is accused of shooting and killing Ronald Randall. His attorney only needed a half a day to present their case to the jurors. Tronca was scheduled to take the stand Monday, but decided against it.

The state said Tronca shot and killed Randall last year because he slept with Tronca's girlfriend.

The defense called two witnesses, including a woman who worked at the shop.

Takeishya Harmon worked at Tronca's shop for about a month. She said she never felt scared around Tronca and neither did his girlfriend Jessica Ogden.

"I don't think, no she wasn't afraid of him. Jessica just puts off a weird, she puts off weird things to make everyone feel like it should be about her," said Harmon.

Harmon also says she was around during a conversation between Ogden and Tronca. They were talking about Randall and the fact Ogden slept with him. Harmon says Tronca didn't seemed phased hearing that information.

The defense called one more witness and that was Dr. Thomas Gratzer. Dr. Gratzer is a forensic psychiatrist and talked about meth use and psychosis.

Closing arguments will happen Wednesday morning.
