DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

The Dubuque Fire Department says they responded to a call of a gas leak in the area of Garfield Ave. around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday.

They say they had to evacuate the Hardee's restaurant on Rhomberg Ave., and that store is without gas at this point.

Officials say the area has been isolated and there are no dangerous gas readings in the area.  Black Hills Energy is also on the scene and working to shut off the leak.

Rhomberg Ave is closed from Elm to Johnson St.
