WATERLOO (KWWL) -

It was an unusual day in and out of court in the Anthony Tronca murder trial. On Tuesday jurors were brought outside the courtroom to look at some evidence.

Tronca is accused of shooting and killing Ronald Randall at his auto shop business in Waterloo last September.

The prosecution asked jurors to take a trip to a garage across the street from the courthouse. That's where they saw a few pieces of evidence taken from the scene where Randall's body was found, including the plastic wrapped around his body.

The prosecution said they wanted to move the jury mainly because of the odor.

The jury also had a chance to hear from investigators with the Waterloo Police Department. Investigator Eryn Hageman took the stand and described what they found at the crime scene in the woods.

"Wrapped up in plastic as well as there was an additional plastic piece nearby the body. The rubber mat over top the body as if holding the body down," said Eryn Hageman, Waterloo Police Department.
