DUNKERTON (KWWL) -

Three people are taken to Allen Hospital after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of East Cedar Wapsi and Raymond Road.

Black Hawk County Sheriff Deputies responded to the crash around 10:30 Saturday morning.

Investigators say 47-year-old James Mortimer of Milford, Kansas was driving a 2006 Toyota Tundra pickup west on East Cedar Wapsi road when he drove through a stop sign, and he hit a 2004 Pontiac Bonneville.

Shannon Schrage, 18, of Sumner, Iowa was driving the Pontiac.

Mortimer was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign.

Both drivers, and a passenger in the Toyota pickup, 19-year-old Byron Mortimer, was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Their condition has not been released.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by Evansdale Police, Dunkerton Fire, Denver Ambulance and Ray Mounts Wrecker Service.
