DUBUQUE (KWWL) -
The Potosi Brewing Company and Matthews Distributing Company are teaming up to help a special needs summer camp that was heavily damaged by a fire before the summer got started.
A fire at Camp Albrecht Acres in Dubuque County in May caused somewhere between $300,000 and $400,000 in damages; the camp was able to open for the summer, but they still have a lot of costs to take care of.
The fundraiser for Albrecht Acres will kick off at Dubuque Oktoberfest on September 19 and will run through October 19.
For every case of Potosi Brewing Company beer sold during that time, Potosi Brewing and Matthews Distributing will donate $2 to Camp Albrecht Acres.
Potosi beers are sold throughout the Dubuqueland area at Hy-Vee, Sam's Club, Hartig Drug and Fareway Foods.
