UPDATE: Waterloo Police say a juvenile went to the hospital on Monday with a gunshot wound.

Investigators believe the victim had been shot in the leg. Police were called to the 200 block of Courtland Street on Monday. Officers found several shell casings in the street and believe two homes had been hit.

Waterloo Police say one person showed up at an emergency room Labor Day, following a report of shots fired in Waterloo Monday afternoon.

The report from the 200 block of Courtland Avenue happened around 4:14 p.m.

Police say bullets also hit two homes. 

The man at the emergency room had non-life threatening injuries from the incident. His name has not been made public.

Earlier, Waterloo police confirmed gun shots fired in the 1600th block of Woodmayr.

No one was hit. Neighbor told police possibly one to 4 shots.

Police say there were also gun shots fired at 3:40 pm on 200 block of Boston.

Monday night, Waterloo Police were called to the 400 block of Dawson Street, after shots were fired from a passing car, which sped away from the scene.

Although several people were outside in the yard when the shots were fired, no one was hit.
