Hot and humid temperatures can't keep Hawkeye fans away!

Posted: Updated:

It's game day for college football and it's met with high temperatures and humidity.

Kinnick Stadium officials say they want their players and fans to be safe and hydrated during the game.

There are going to be four cooling stations during the game, one at each corner of Kinnick Stadium for football players.

Officials say fans are allowed to bring water bottles to the game.

University officials say they have spent all week working with their staff to prepare for the heat and they have additional EMT officials on hand as a precaution.

Kick-off is at 11 a.m. at Kinnick Stadium.

It will feel close to 100 degrees around kickoff.

Stay hydrated out there!
