CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

Five days remain until UNI's football opener at Iowa State, and the identity of the Panthers' starting quarterback remains a mystery.

UNI coach Mark Farley said on Monday that none of the top four has eliminated themselves from the competition.

"I think I know the direction it's leaning towards, but it's not a clear enough picture to where I can say this is what we're going to do today," said Farley, "So, there's still some things to work out this week, and we'll make that decision whether it's right before the game time or there is some things that still need to be worked out."

Panther veteran Sawyer Kollmorgen, Illinois transfer Aaron Bailey, sophomore Dalton Demos, and redshirt freshman Eli Dunne are all vying to take Saturday's first snap.
