CORALVILLE (KWWL) -

The trial of a man accused of shooting and killing a woman working at Coral Ridge Mall has been moved.

The murder trial of Alexander Kozak will be held April 12 in Story County, a judge ruled on Friday.

Kozak's attorneys had requested a change of venue due to possible jury bias due to the publicity surrounding the shooting. His attorneys told KWWL they were satisfied with the new venue.

Kozak is accused of killing Andrea Farrington, 20, in June inside the mall. Kozak worked at the mall as a security guard.

Amie Steffeneicher contributed to this report.
