WATERLOO (KWWL) -

A 10-year-old Waterloo boy was hit by a truck, but the driver left the scene.

It happened near the 'six corners' intersection in Waterloo Wednesday night.

Tysen Taylor was playing football near the intersection when his ball rolled into the road.

He says a man told him it was safe to cross the road, but as soon as he approached, he was hit.

His family is now looking for whomever hit Tysen. He says the driver was a woman in a blue truck.

His mother has shared several photos of Tysen's injuries on Facebook, which have been shared nearly 5,000 times to try and find who's responsible.
