CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

The 5th annual Cleaning Up Cancer Carnival is set for Saturday at Salem United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids from 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The event benefits Time in a Bottle, a local non-profit that provides free cleaning services for local families with children battling cancer and other terminal diseases.

The carnival will feature an appearance from former NFL player and Hawkeye alum Tim Dwight, and silent auction items donated by the St. Louis Cardinals,  The MAC, Mathnasium of Cedar Rapids and many more.

Other family friendly activities include carnival rides, a Velcro and rock-climbing wall, inflatables, a trackless train, and dunk tank. Over a dozen games, a cake auction, and bake sale will also be featured in addition to over a dozen local vendors.   Food and drinks will be available for purchase courtesy of Hy-Vee and Pepsico as well as ice cones from Kona Ice.

The fun begins at 11 a.m. at Salem United Methodist Church located at 3715 33rd Ave. SW in

Cedar Rapids. $50 all-inclusive passes are available at Absolutely Clean and Hacienda, who is the events largest sponsor. For more information contact the Time in a Bottle headquarters at (319)377-4404 or email us at info@absolutleyclean.org
