IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Tickets are now available for Habitat's Hammers and Hardhats.

Habitat's Hammers and Hardhats is a silent auction hosted by Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity offering a variety of items, with proceeds going towards the Mary Palmberg Women Build.

The Mary Palmberg Women Build is working towards a $50,000 goal which will help construct an affordable home for a family that has come from Sudan to Iowa City.

Currently, the Mary Palmberg Women Build has raised $44,000.

The Hammers and Hardhat's silent auction will be held on October 23rd at Carver Hawkeye Arena.

The event will go from 6-9 p.m.

Tickets that are currently available are at a discounted price of $40. Tickets at this price are on an early bird discount that will only be offered until September 1st.

After September 1st, tickets will be $50.

Construction on the home is set to begin on September 11th.

The Hammers and Hardhats silent auction will also offer appetizers and a cash bar.

A few of the silent auction items that will be available include gift certificates, a spa day and two different Colorado properties.
