IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

The University of Iowa is going completely tobacco-free.

As of Monday, the campus is not allowing the use of any tobacco products on campus. This includes electronic cigarettes, smokeless tobacco and other tobacco products.

The University of Iowa has been smoke-free since 2008, however, people are no longer allowed to use any form of tobacco.

The policy applies to not only students, but also to faculty, staff and visitors. It covers all buildings and vehicles controlled by the UI.
