GLENDALE, Ariz. (KWWL) -

David Johnson turned some heads in his first NFL action on Saturday.

Johnson rushed for 66 yards on 13 carries and caught a pair of passes for 15 yards in the Arizona Cardinals preseason game against San Diego. He opened the game with a 13 yard run in the first quarter and had carries of 9 and 10 yards in the second. The performance came after he missed 2 weeks of training camp with a hamstring injury.

Johnson's expected to spend his first NFL season as the back-up to Cardinals' starter Andre Ellington.
