Man escapes Hope House for second time

CORALVILLE (KWWL) -

Johnson County law enforcement officers are searching for a man who escaped from a residential work release facility in Coralville, for a second time.

Anthony David Kendricks, 26, is serving time for assault with intent to commit sexual abuse and intimidation with a dangerous weapon. He was transferred to the Hope House Work Release Facility in Coralville on July 20.

He was put on escape status Sunday morning when he didn’t return to his work release facility.

He previously escaped the same facility back in May of 2014.

He is described as being 5'7" and around 170 pounds.

He has tattoos on his upper left arm, chest, left forearm, right forearm, and right wrist.
