IOWA CITY (KWWL) -
Iowa City Police Officers arrest a doctor, accused of inappropriately touching his co-worker. Foad Elahi allegedly touched his co-worker multiple times without her permission, once holding her in his office so she couldn't leave.
The victim noted one incident between August and September of 2014 when she was bringing Dr. Elahi his mail, and he shut the door behind her, hugged her, placed his hands on her butt and her knees without her permission.
Criminal complaints say the victim got chills and did not like his advances; she was confined to his office at the time and wasn't able to leave. She claims he tried to kiss her, but she turned away and he ended up kissing her neck.
The victim says she pushed Elahi off of her and was able to leave his office.
Another incident listed in the complaints happened sometime between September and October of 2014. The victim claims she was told to follow Elahi into a hallway, and he quickly started feeling her up.
The victim allegedly told him to stop it, as it could get them in trouble, but he laughed and she was forced to push him off of her.
The victim notes she felt insulted, offended and nervous during this, and previous incidents with Elahi.
Criminal complaints also suggested that Elahi touched her breasts after releasing from hugs multiple times.
He's since bonded out of the Johnson County Jail.
