Have  you ever met someone so genuinely nice it makes you second guess your own moral compass?

George Sutton is that guy.

George is a dishwasher at a bar in Waterloo; he loves his job and his town.

"I've lived here all my live," he says.

On Wednesday night, he's at the First United Methodist Church having their monthly free meal.

He says the meal is really more of a social thing, he gets to hang out with his friends.

"It's really so people can get together, it's about fellowship, to talk about the weather, and to enjoy their time," he says.

But it's not just about hanging out, it's about helping too.

Sutton makes sure his friends with disabilities get their meal before he gets his.

It's people like George that makes the pastor of the church, Nate Nims, proud to be there.

"There's some economic realities we see here at the church, and sometimes at these meals you hear good stories, but sometimes you don't," says Nims.

But these get-togethers are a way to literally  bring those stories to the table, and the people who live them.

The church has their monthly free meal on Wednesdays.
