WATERLOO (KWWL) -

A Tripoli woman convicted of stealing from her employer has been sentenced to probation.

In February, police accused 35-year-old Christa Lampe of using a Viking Pump credit card to make more than $28,000  worth of personal purchases from 2013 to 2015.

Lampe was convicted of one count of first degree theft and two counts of second degree theft.

At a sentencing hearing on Monday, Lampe received suspended prison sentences and fines on all three charges, but was sentenced to 5 years probation on each charge.

It is not clear from online court records if those probation sentences are to be served concurrently or consecutively.
