IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Iowa City Police are looking for a man they say is armed and dangerous after he allegedly shot at another person.

Police were called around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning to the 1900 block of Broadway Street.

Witnesses identified the suspect as Diamond Sincere Wilson, 28.

He is described as a light-skinned black male, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds with braided hair to his shoulders. He was wearing a white t-shirt, tan cargo shorts, black shoes and a black and gray Chicago hat.

Officers searched the area, but were unable to find him.

Witnesses say Wilson got into an argument with someone inside a home. During that argument, Wilson allegedly pointed a gun at the victim's chest and fired.

The victim was able to get out of the way and was not injured. Wilson then left the home and took off.

Police say he is believed to be armed and dangerous. The Iowa City Police Department's Investigation Unit is actively investigating the incident and charges are pending.

The Iowa City Area CrimeStoppers is offering up to a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to his arrest. Anyone with information is urged to contact CrimeStoppers at 358-TIPS (8477).
