JESUP (KWWL) -

A Jesup man will be taking home most of a $1 million Powerball prize after taxes.

Brian Delagardelle of Jesup matched five out of six numbers in Saturday's Powerball drawing, the Iowa Lottery announced on Monday.

Delagardelle validated his ticket at the Lottery's headquarters in Clive. He purchased the ticket at a Washburn store.

A Brian Delagardelle is the City of Gilbertville's public works director, but it was not immediately clear if it was the same Brian Delagardelle. City Hall officials were not available after 4 p.m. Monday.
