BREMER COUNTY (KWWL) -

Three people are arrested following a car chase in Bremer County, involving a stolen vehicle.  A Bremer County Deputy pulled over the 2006 Ford 500 for speeding on Highway 218 about one mile south of Plainfield.

The driver initially stopped, but was unable to give the deputy a valid license.  He then drove off, leading authorities on a chase at speeds of more than 100 miles per hour.

Iowa State Patrol was able to lay down Stop Sticks twice, finally stopping the car just south of Bennington Road on Highway 218.

The driver 18-year-old Davon Garner, of Minneapolis, and his passengers, 18-year-old Sabrina Flowers, of Waterloo and a 14-year-old female from Minneapolis were all arrested.

They are charged with Possession of Stolen Property, a second degree felony.  Garner is also charged with Eluding and two counts of excessive speed.  No injuries were reported in the incident.

Authorities spent much of the day looking for evidence on the media of Highway 218 between Janesville and Waverly.
