UPDATE: Names released of 4 killed in Tama County crash

TAMA COUNTY (KWWL) -

UPDATE: We now know the names of the 4 people killed in the crash.

Investigators say William Willis, 68, from San Antonio, Texas was driving a car on Highway 21, and went into an intersection at Highway 30. The car was then hit by a semi.

Linda Willis of San Antonio was also in the vehicle. She was 65. George and Delorise Eggers from Memphis, Missouri also died. They were 89 and 88 respectively.

The semi driver from Baxter, Iowa was not seriously hurt.

All four were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Benton and Tama County Sheriff's Offices, the Belle Plaine Fire Department, Vining Fire Department, and Elberon Ambulance.

The accident remains under investigation.
