CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

A Dubuque man will spend more than 11 years in federal prison after being convicted on a gun charge.

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Iowa says 33-year-old Charles Michael Pledge was sentenced to 11 years and 3 months in federal prison for possession of a firearm as a felon.

Court documents show Pledge, also known as Tennessee, pleaded guilty on April 6 to possessing a .45 caliber pistol in November. Pledge has four felony convictions for aggravated burglary in Tennessee.
