GRANT COUNTY, Wis. (KWWL) -

The Grant County Sheriff's Office says a motorcyclist was injured and then arrested after leading deputies on a chase before crashing his motorcycle.

Deputies were called to the intersection Highway 61 and Substation Road in Potosi Township after somebody saw two people, one in a truck and one on a motorcycle, yelling at each other.

Deputies found the truck near Hudson Hollow Road and interviewed the driver, 40-year-old Karalee Peacock.

Peacock told deputies she was arguing with 54-year-old Samuel Brunton. Deputies say there is a restraining order between Peacock and Brunton.

A deputy was in a driveway near Brunton's home when Brunton approached. Deputies say Brunton saw the deputy, turned around and took off.

Deputies chased Brunton for a short distance until he crashed the motorcycle.

Brunton was arrested after being treated for his injuries. He is charged with violation of a protection order, eluding and operating after revocation.

Peacock is charged with obstructing an officer.
