IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

A Coralville man faces theft charges, accused of stealing more than $20,000 from Domino's Pizza over the course of just 3 months.

Samuel Rainey, 32, was arrested by Iowa City Police on Thursday evening. He's charged with 1st degree theft, a class C Felony.
Criminal Complaints say the Rainey worked as a night manager at the Iowa City Domino's and skimmed money from night deposits; complaints say he was supposed to deposit money on 22 occasions from January 27 to March 14. During that time, he allegedly entered the deposits into the store computer, but didn't take the money to the bank, taking $20,276,12 throughout that time.
He was taken to the Johnson County Jail Thursday.
