CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

A man has been sentenced to 100 months in prison after being convicted of possessing a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon.

Michael Davis, 26, of Cedar Rapids pleaded guilty in April to three federal firearms offenses.

Davis admitted to possessing multiple firearms which were not registered to him.

He will spend 100 months in prison and must pay $300. He also must serve a three-year term of supervised release. The federal system does not have parole.
