HIAWATHA (KWWL) -

Thousands of cyclists means thousands of reasons to make the trek across Iowa -- and one of those reasons is to show off the Air Force.

The United States Air Force has registered their group for RAGBRAI for about 21 years. The group gets more than 120 cyclists from across the country to ride.

It's an opportunity for them to promote their cause while having a good time along the way.

"One of the main things we're doing is just trying to get the word of the Air Force and how great of a career it can be, and then just in general just portraying the Air Force in a good light," said Brian Bishop, United States Air Force. "Helping everyone out, changing everyone's tires on the side of the road and just trying to just get out there and show a positive image."

Members with the Air Force cycling team says they will be riding into Davenport all together, in a two-by-two line.
