CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

The African American Museum in Cedar Rapids will be hosting a concert by Celeste Bembry.

Her performance, the "Festival of Spirituals: Then and Now," will look into the roots of American music.

The show will explore America's culture, both past and present, from the 1600's to today.

The event is free and will be held on August 7th at 6:30 P.M.
