PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, Wis. (KWWL) -
Crawford County Sheriff's Deputies say a Quasqueton man was arrested in a Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin bowling alley after a high-speed chase that spanned two states.
Kevin Kraepl, 25, faces charges of fleeing from an officer, resisting arrest, and reckless driving; additional charges could come from the State of Iowa.
Investigators in Wisconsin were notified of the chase by Iowa officers, and police officers put stop sticks on the bridge over the Mississippi River to try and catch him. Investigators say they followed his car for seven blocks until he couldn't drive anymore. Kraepl allegedly ran, and officers set up a perimeter with a K9 team. Officers arrested him inside the Leisure Time Sports Bar and Grill in Prairie du Chien, shortly after.
Kraepl was taken to the Crawford County Jail.
