A Boy Scout has been trying to bring it to Hardin County to earn his eagle rank.
The painter, Ray Sorensen says, "I had the idea for this tour and my idea was to try and put a freedom rock in every single county in Iowa and so currently on that project, working on the 31st. "
Boy Scout, Liam Stubbe says, "I've kind of had to facilitate the project, I've been lining up contacts and organizing everything. We've had to go out through the community and raise money."
Many counties in Iowa have already booked a Freedom Rock to be painted in the next few years.
